About

Built for the moments between phone calls.

Most family-safety apps are built for tracking, where your kid is right now, how fast they're driving, who they're with. Careping is the opposite. It's for the people we love who don't want to be tracked, but whose silence we worry about anyway: parents who live alone, the friend going through a hard year, the neighbor who'd want someone to notice.

The app is deliberately simple. A few big buttons. A clear "I'm well." A loud "Need help." And if you go silent past the window you chose, 12 hours, a day, a week, the people who love you find out, with your last known location and a one-tap acknowledgement so they can stop the alerts the moment they know you're okay.

What we believe

  • Quiet is the highest virtue of safety tech.

A check-in app should fade into the background. Most days you'll barely think about it. That's the point.

  • No tier should be paywalled.

If a feature could save a life or settle a worry, it can't sit behind a subscription. Careping is free forever.

  • Your data is not the product.

We don't sell your location, your contacts, your check-ins, or anything else. We only know what we need to send the right alert at the right time.

  • Designed for the people who'll actually use it.

Big buttons. High contrast. Friendly language. The interface respects elderly users and their families equally.

What Careping is not

Careping is not a medical alert system, a 24/7 monitoring service, or a replacement for emergency services. We don't have a call center. We don't dispatch help. In a real emergency, please call 911 (US) or your local emergency number, that's what they're for.

What we do well is the long quiet middle, the days when nothing is wrong but knowing for sure would still bring relief.
